VERIFIED · STRIPE + POSTHOG & ANALYTICS

What did your launch actually make?

Real numbers from real launches, pulled straight from Stripe and PostHog, Plausible, GA4 or your analytics stack. See what Product Hunt, LinkedIn, your own site, Hacker News, Reddit and launch directories actually sent, then which place won.

DIRECTORY REPORT CARDS

Launch directories, measured by results.

Compare the traffic and revenue reported after a directory listing. Example report cards are labeled as sample data.

No directory has enough qualifying receipts yet. Add a directory launch with its name; report cards appear once at least 10 completed public receipts share live visitor and revenue metrics.
Median per listing, 30 days. Revenue grades: A ≥ $1,000; B ≥ $500; C ≥ $100; D ≥ $50; F below $50. Directories can't pay to change them.

#CHANNELMEDIAN
Each channel gets a ranked list of launches once a receipt is public.
Medians publish after 10 verified launches in a channel, once each has a full 30 days of data. Revenue is new Stripe revenue after launch day.

HOW IT WORKS

Your receipt in about two minutes.

01
Connect, read-only
Paste a restricted Stripe key that can only read payments, then connect PostHog, Plausible, GA4, DataFast, Mixpanel, Fathom or Umami. Set every write permission to None; the restricted-key prefix alone does not guarantee read-only access.
02
Tag your launch
Pick the channel and date: Product Hunt, LinkedIn, your own site, Show HN, a Reddit thread, a post on X, a newsletter or any directory. Add the link so anyone can check it.
03
Get your receipt
Review a private draft, choose which live metrics to share, then publish your free receipt. Channel medians require enough completed, verified launches.
Dofollow backlink
Named public receipts link to your site.
Share card for X
A receipt image, ready to post.
Anonymous mode
Share a flop without your name on it.

Questions founders ask first

Is Afterlaunch entirely free?

Adding your launch, tracking its results, and publishing a receipt are entirely free. You do not need to buy advertising or a boost to use these tools. Optional sidebar advertising and boosts are paid separately at the price shown before checkout.

How does this help me promote my product?

Publish a receipt you can share in a Product Hunt follow-up, a LinkedIn post, or a community update. Named receipts link to your product. Record separate launches for different channels to compare their results and plan your next push. Afterlaunch does not automatically post for you or guarantee traffic, signups, or sales.

What counts as a launch?

Any dated push on one channel: Product Hunt, LinkedIn, your own site, Show HN, Reddit, X, a newsletter, or a directory. Add a separate receipt for each push so its date and channel stay clear.

What do I need to get started?

Sign in, add your product, connect a restricted Stripe key, and choose the launch channel and date. Analytics is optional. Your receipt starts as a private draft; review the results and select which live metrics to share before publishing.

Is it safe to connect Stripe?

Use a restricted key with only the read permissions needed to retrieve payment data, and leave write permissions disabled. We reject full secret keys and encrypt stored credentials with AES-256-GCM. A restricted-key prefix does not prove the key is read-only: check its permissions in Stripe. Revoke the key in Stripe whenever you want to stop access.

Which analytics tools can I connect?

PostHog, Plausible, Google Analytics 4, DataFast, Mixpanel, Fathom, and Umami. Available metrics depend on your provider, token permissions, and configured signup events. Analytics is optional; do not treat missing or preview analytics as verified results.

How is revenue tied to a launch?

Receipts show results in the 7 and 30 days after the launch, with a pre-launch baseline and referrer context where available. This is a before-and-after comparison, not causal attribution. Overlapping campaigns, returning customers, and other activity can contribute to the same totals.

Can I share a launch anonymously?

Yes. Anonymous mode hides your product name, logo, and website on the receipt. Public metrics can still contribute to channel medians. Review your tagline and notes yourself: identifying details you write there can still reveal your product.

What do preview numbers and channel medians mean?

Preview numbers were not read from a live provider. Hide them before publishing. Channel medians appear after at least 10 qualifying launches have completed the selected reporting window. Local demo data is labeled as sample data. Directory report cards need at least 10 completed public receipts with live visitor and revenue metrics for the same directory.

Can I edit my receipt or stop data access?

Open your dashboard to edit, unpublish, or delete a receipt. Account & company settings lets you edit companies, disconnect integrations, download your data, manage subscriptions, and permanently delete a company or your account. Disconnecting removes stored credentials and stops future syncs while keeping saved results; a request already sent to a provider may finish. You can also revoke credentials at the provider.

Do advertisers change rankings?

No. Optional sidebar ads are separate from channel comparisons and do not change the underlying metrics. Advertising is not required to publish a free receipt.
